Ashirafu is an outgoing ten year old boy living with his mother and three siblings. Ashirafu enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and fetching water. Ashirafu excels at making homemade soccer balls, and his favorite subject English. He is a lively character in his village and has many friends.

                Ashirafu has dreams of becoming a motor vehicle mechanic some day but for now dreams of simply attending school.

                Ashirafu's family has struggled since his father's unexpected passing in April 2016, but finds joy in family, unity, and playing.
